 Aaryn was born and raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Aaryn received her undergraduate degree from Southwest Texas State University in
San Marcos, Texas. She then returned to
the area to attend law school. She received her law degree from
Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth. While in law school, Aaryn
had an internship with the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office in
the family violence unit. Aaryn began her practice of law in
Denton County and opened her own firm in December 2007 in Tarrant
County. Aaryn continues to practice family law in Denton and
Tarrant County.
Aaryn is
married and has two children. In her free time, Aaryn enjoys
playing with her children and dogs, reading, volunteering, and creating
stained glass.

Volunteer Work & Charities Supported
Aaryn volunteered her legal services to assist foster families adopt
their foster children during the Tarrant County National Adoption Day in
2008. Aaryn has already volunteered assist with National Adoption
Day in Tarrant and Denton Counties in November 2009.
Aaryn was one of hundreds of Texas attorneys who volunteered to
assist in representation of the approximately 330 children removed from
the YFZ Ranch by Child Protective Services in 2008. Aaryn
represented three young sisters in the case.
Aaryn is the
Founding Chair of Young and Under Pressure, an internet-based
support group for youth with glaucoma, the first of its kind. Young and Under Pressure was adopted by
The Glaucoma Foundation in 1999. Aaryn also assisted in founding a
similar group for parents of youth with glaucoma and another group for
adult glaucoma patients. Aaryn has volunteered for several Foundation
programs and two national conventions. Aaryn was Awarded the Kitty
Carlisle
Hart Award of Merit for Lifetime Achievement by the Glaucoma Foundation in 2003.
Aaryn is an active volunteer with and supporter of the Juvenile
Diabetes Foundation and the local Fort Worth-Arlington Chapter of JDRF.
St. Jude's Research Hospital is another charity supported by Aaryn.
